Transformative leadership in ASEAN

ASEAN has been transformative in many different ways. It has been transformative in terms of changing its dynamic relationship amongst countries in Southeast Asia. In the early years of ASEAN development, ASEAN often found itself in conflict, increasing tension and mistrust internally. In just 5 years of transformative leadership, ASEAN has not only been able to create peace in this part of the world but also in terms of providing opportunities for commerce to build interactions which are mutually beneficial and fulfilling each others’ interest.
